Baylor freshman KC Lightfoot cleared 18-10.75 (5.76m) to place third in the men's pole vault final at the Toyota USATF Outdoor Championships at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa. Lightfoot has cleared 19-0.25 (5.80m) at a beach vault in June, but his second-attempt clearance was a personal best at a track and field meet on a standard runway.
