Single-day Tickets for 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials on Sale April 15

TrackTown USA Release

EUGENE, Ore. – TrackTown USA is pleased to announce that single-day tickets for the 2016 U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Track & Field at historic Hayward Field will go on sale to the public at 9 a.m. Pacific time on April 15.

If you want a good seat to one of the best track and field meets in the world, one that only comes around every four years, and one that carries the added drama of Olympic dreams for each participating athlete, go to TrackTown16.com, call 1-800-WEBFOOT, or visit the University of Oregon Athletic Ticket Office to purchase tickets. Check out the Hayward Field seating chart and competition schedule for TrackTown16, and choose the athletes and events you want to see.

Single-session reserved seats are available in five different price categories. (Additional fees may apply and VISA is the exclusive credit card.)

  • Blue level: Sections A, B, C & D ($88) – only limited view and obstructed view seats available
  • Yellow level: Sections E, F & U ($78)
  • Black level: Sections N, O, P, Q, S & T ($68)
  • Green level: Sections G, L & M ($58)
  • Red level: Sections J & K ($43)

This will be the sixth time that the U.S. Olympic Trials will be staged in TrackTown USA. The event serves as the selection meet for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

It’s destined to be one of the hottest tickets of the year! All-session ticket packages are selling ahead of pace from each of the past two Trials in 2008 and 2012 and the inaugural launch of four-day ticket packages was a huge success. A limited number of all-session packages are still available and four-day ticket packages will not be available after 9:00 a.m. Pacific time on Thursday, April 14. So, if you can’t attend every day, this is your chance to obtain tickets for the days you can.

If you want to watch Olympic silver medalist Galen Rupp go for his eighth straight national title in the 10,000 meters, then Friday, July 1 – the first full day of competition at the Trials – should be your target.

Or, if you can’t wait to check out the hops of Vashti Cunningham, the teen-age sensation who won the gold medal at the IAAF World Indoor Championships in Portland last month, then Sunday, July 3 should be on your radar.

And, of course, the world’s greatest athlete, Ashton Eaton, is scheduled to compete on July 2–3 in his quest for yet another Olympic gold medal.

Don’t delay.

You don’t want to miss the magic of Hayward Field as the world’s greatest athletes deliver unforgettable performances in pursuit of their Olympic dreams.
